Support Stephanie Heart's Battle against Metastatic Melanoma

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today on behalf of our dear friend and loved one, Stephanie Heart, who is once again facing a difficult battle with Metastatic Melanoma.

Stephanie’s journey started in 2018 when she was first diagnosed with malignant melanoma in the great left toe. She went through surgery and had her affected toe amputated, as well as several lymph nodes removed. She then underwent treatment for a year, battling with courage and strength, all while inspiring others in the same fight. She was in remission for three solid years. During this time, Stephanie was an avid fundraiser for Fox Chase Cancer Center, as well as a strong supporter of self-advocacy for personal medical care.

In November 2022, Stephanie was told the cancer had returned and that it was now metastatic to her stomach and liver, with surrounding node involvement. She put on the battle gloves and underwent treatment again – this time for almost two years. She eventually showed NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE and the cancer was at bay.

With two treatments remaining, the unfortunate news of the cancer returning as an aggressive large tumor in her stomach was revealed this past October. Stephanie is now facing an uphill battle as she navigates a new treatment plan along with new unknown side effects.

Stephanie is not just a fighter; she’s a shining light in our lives. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her inspire us daily. She has always been there for others, and now it’s our turn to be there for her.

The cost of her ongoing treatments, medications, and necessary care is overwhelming. Your contributions will help alleviate the financial burden and allow Stephanie to focus on her recovery and emotional/psychological well-being during this challenging journey.
