Our Story

Life can change in an instant. For my family, that moment came when we received the devastating news that my mother, Stephanie Franzen, had been diagnosed with breast cancer. As a mother of six, a loving daughter, and a cherished friend, Stephanie has always been the heart of our family, and someone who lifts up everyone around her. Now, as she bravely faces the greatest battle of her life, it’s our turn to support her the way she has always supported others.

Stephanie is in the process of undergoing testing to determine what type of surgery and other treatment she will need. While we are hopeful for a positive outcome, the emotional and financial strain that comes with battling cancer is overwhelming. As many of you may know, the costs associated with cancer treatment—doctor visits, surgeries, medications, and recovery—are astronomical, not to mention the additional stress of lost income due to time off work.

This GoFundMe campaign is our way of asking for help to ease some of the financial burden on Stephanie. We want her to focus on her recovery, not on how she will cover the mounting medical expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in alleviating the pressure she faces.
