Support Stephanie Fogg's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Stephanie Fogg, and I recently lost half of my leg. About six months ago, I developed an infection in my foot heel. Despite several ER visits and attempts to control the infection,
I was unsuccessful and ultimately had to amputate my limb.
After relocating to Idaho from Arizona, I have only been at my job for seven months. Unfortunately, I do not qualify for FMLA, and my employer is a small company that does not offer short-term disability. Post-surgery, I will need physical therapy, and I will have multiple doctor's appointments and medical expenses. I have no paid time off, and I will need to return to work soon to cover my bills (though not full-time hours at first).
I do have insurance, but I am on a very limited income, and my hours will be reduced during my recovery. While I was in the hospital, my time off was unpaid. As a result, I’m facing significant challenges, including paying rent, covering doctor bills, and eventually affording a prosthetic once I’m able to get one. Your donation will aid in my recovery. I plan on sending out updates on how the money is being spent as well as my recovery to everyone.
Any donation you can make will help immensely. Thank you for your support!
