Support Stephanie and Cain's Medical Recovery

Hi, my name is Karen; Steph’s cousin, and I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for taking the time to read this.

On March 4, 2025, I was on vacation in Mexico with my cousins and friends. What started as a fun-filled day took a devastating turn. While exploring the island on scooters, as recommended by the locals, a coati suddenly crossed the path of my cousin Stephanie and her husband Cain, causing them to lose control and were ejected about 20/30 feet. Even though the emergency crew arrived promptly, unfortunately, both Stephanie and Cain suffered severe injuries.

They were taken to a private hospital in Mexico, where they received inadequate care and accumulated an enormous bill of $7k before they would even help them. They wanted payment first. Once they were able to return to the US after a painful 24hour day of travel; doctors were able to provide the necessary treatment. However, while still in the hospital, we realized that the medical bills would continue to pile up as they need extensive care and Steph’s surgery in the near future.
