On September 27th, while I was asleep at 4 a.m., a relative attempted to take my life without warning. This was sudden and completely unexpected. I was shot multiple times, and one of the bullets remains lodged near my heart and can’t be removed. By the grace of God, I’m still here. This experience has changed my life in every way. I now face a long road to recovery physically, mentally, and emotionally but with God, my family, and the love and support from friends and the community, I’m determined to heal and move forward. ❤️l want to sincerely thank everyone who has prayed for me, sent cards, checked in, or donated and much more. Every message, every kind gesture, every dollar none of it has gone unnoticed. I’m currently out on short-term disability, facing a long road to recovery in the days, weeks, and months ahead. During this time, I will be unable to work or care for my children and family.
