Just last week, Stephan Kadyra received a devastating diagnosis—a tumor located on his brainstem—after finally seeing a doctor following months of unexplained and worsening health. Within days, he underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumor, and life as he knew it changed overnight.

Stephan is the sole provider for his wife, Tanya, and their four young children—Miriam, Xavier, Daniel, and Jason. This sudden medical crisis has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on their family. Doctors anticipate a long and challenging recovery which will involve intensive rehabilitation, expected to last at least a year. During this time, Stephan will be unable to work, and the mounting medical bills and living expenses are more than the family can manage alone.
