My name is Fatama, and I’m the founder of Stemsandpetals.co—a brand I started when I was just 16 years old with my boyfriend (now husband). We were the first to launch this idea in Pakistan back in 2019, and our unique approach to natural, untreated gemstones and handmade wire-wrapped jewelry quickly caught on. We sold out instantly and received a lot of media attention, which was both exciting and humbling. After our initial success, we continued to grow, always focusing on creating beautiful, meaningful pieces that blend tradition with modern style.

Now, as a U.S. citizen born in Baltimore, I’ve brought Stemsandpetals.co to Chicago, hoping to share the same passion and creativity with a new community. My jewelry is inspired by Pakistani heritage but designed to fit a modern, diverse audience. This brand is my only source of income, and while I’m deeply committed to my craft, I’m currently struggling financially. I’m unable to invest in the materials I need to keep making jewelry and to cover essential business expenses.
