My name is Cindy, and I am the legal guardian of my grandson, Sammy. Sammy has cerebral palsy, a condition that affects his movement and muscle coordination. There is currently no cure for cerebral palsy, but I am always searching for ways to improve his quality of life and give him the best possible future.

After a lot of research, I learned about stem cell therapy as a potential treatment for Sammy. Unfortunately, this treatment is not available in the United States and is not covered by insurance. I went as far as pulling research papers, finding the authors, and reaching out to them directly. While there are no ongoing clinical trials, I was told that Sammy could be treated as a patient. The cost of his ongoing care has already put a significant financial strain on our family, and the additional expenses for this treatment are more than I can manage alone.

The funds raised will first help us obtain a passport for Sammy, and the remainder will go directly toward his stem cell treatment.
