FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international high school robotics competition.

LEE High School's STEM Academy FRC Team 5572, The Rosbots, was started in 2014 with 5 students and has grown to over 50 students. The Rosbots has qualified for the World Championships 6 of the past 11 years.

This year, the slimmed down budget for the robotics team is $50,000. While the school disctrict has alloted some funds to cover club expenses, $35,000 is still needed to meet the team's goal of advancing to the World Championship again.

Currently the Rosbots fund their team through through corporate grants, sponsorships, and personal donations.

This GoFundMe page is one avenue for achieving their goal.

All money collected goes to support the Rosbots. There are no administrative costs, salaries, etc.

As one of only two Title 1 High Schools in the district, the Rosbots could not fund their team without generous outside support.
