Stella is beginning a long road to recovery, and we’re coming together to support her.

Hi, my name is Willow, and I’m reaching out for my best friend—more like a sister—Stella.

On March 23rd, Stella was in a serious ski accident at Whitewater Ski Resort. She was airlifted to Kelowna General Hospital, where doctors found a severe spinal cord injury (C6–C7), and was later transferred to Vancouver General Hospital for surgery.

Right now, there is still a lot of uncertainty around her recovery, so we live in prayer, positive manifestation and take things one day at a time.

We are raising funds to support Stella’s recovery and help her family remain in Vancouver by her side during this critical time. She is expected to need to remain on the coast for several months.  

She will need extensive rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and emotional support. Our goal is to ease the financial burden so her loved ones can focus fully on being there for her.

Stella is one of the brightest, strongest, kindest people I know—someone who brings light, laughter, and care to everyone around her. She has a deep love for skiing, music, camping, and interpreting life through photography.

She recently returned to the Kootenays, and was looking forward to a season of outdoor adventures. We can’t wait to see her get back to doing what she loves.

We are incredibly grateful to the Whitewater ski patrol, paramedics, and medical teams who have taken such great care of her.

First and foremost we ask for positivity and a firm believe that she will achieve meaningful recovery.  Following that any donations and random acts of kindness mean the world to Stella and her family. Stella is strong.  With the support of her community, we she will overcome this brutal adversity.
