Stella.

She was our bunny eared, racecar chasing, blanket sucking, pit bull super mutt. She was Tara's owner, debt collector, inspiration, costume sidekick, and best friend forever.

Maybe you met her at yappy hour or maybe she hung on your wall as a calendar model. Maybe she changed your mind about pit bull type dogs or maybe she just reinforced your desire to adopt one. But it doesn't matter how you met her, because if you knew her, you loved her.

This fundraiser is to support the cost of a full memorial bench at the Asbury Park dog beach, one of Stella's favorite places. It will be a place for Tara and all of us to sit and think about the memories we shared with Stella. Any funds raised beyond the goal will be used for a ball library for other dogs to enjoy the beach as much as she did.
