Hi! I'm Stella Gilmore, an anthropology major at UNC Asheville, planning to pursue a career in archaeology. I am studying abroad in Florence this summer, and I need help funding my travel and program costs.

I am so excited about this program and its location because they offer hands on experiences with material culture, landscapes, and living communities connected to history. Learning in a place rich in history will help me better learn about how we preserve and interpret the past. Studying abroad will let me explore different cultures. This experience will support my goal of going to graduate school and working in archaeological research. The experience of studying abroad will enrich my academic experience and help me become an archaeologist.
