My junk yard rescue, wonder pup, Stella baby will undergo surgery this week. Sadly in the past months, she has torn both of her doggy ACL’s :( it gotten to the point where she can’t do any of the things she loves. She struggles to walk, sit, run, play, swim, dig, play soccer, all of her favorite things. Trying to manage her pain and keep her strong and happy, it’s gotten to the point where I can’t stand to watch her suffer anymore. Typically she comes to work with me everyday, but due to her pain and inability to walk comfortably it’s been sad for me to leave her at home all day. She turns two in June, and I want her to live a life without pain and be able to continue to add joy to everyone’s days!

The cost is a tough sum of money that is required at the time/date of surgery. This hasn’t been some thing that my soccer coach budget has necessarily planned for- nevertheless I am trying to be better at asking for help when I need some. Vulnerability can be beautiful.
