I'm raising funds for my friend's rescue dog, Stella, who needs help working through her anxiety and leash aggression.

Stella was originally found as a stray with her puppies and brought to a pound. After all her puppies were adopted, Stella was put on the kill list, but she was rescued just in time by Forte Animal Rescue. My friend and her partner are now fostering her and love her very much. Stella gets along well with their own dog, and they are giving her the chance at a safer, more stable life.

The biggest challenges happen outside the home and around other people. On walks in the neighborhood, Stella becomes very anxious and aggressive on leash. She is also very protective of her foster parents, which makes it hard to have visitors over or trust her around children. These behaviors have made daily life more difficult, even though Stella has already come so far.

The funds from this fundraiser will help cover a two-week intensive board and train program with a trusted trainer, Nhut, at Redemption Tails. This training is meant to help Stella build confidence, while also giving her foster parents the right strategies and skills to keep working with her and help her overcome her anxieties.

We're hoping to recover as much of the cost as possible with help from the community. If you can donate or share this fundraiser, it would mean so much and would directly support Stella's training and her chance to keep making progress and eventually find her forever home.
