Support Stella High Students' College Dreams

For the past year and a half, I have been a counselor at Stella High Charter Academy located in Inglewood, California. When I first arrived at this school, I was shocked at the lack of college access and preparation given to the students. After a year of working with seniors, I have noticed how important exposure and opportunity is for these kids, many of which will be first-generation college students. Due to a tight Charter school budget and under-resourced communities surrounding our school, we do not have many opportunities for students to be exposed to college.

However, this year I have proposed taking students to see and experience universities firsthand in the Washington D.C. area. Miraculously, this was approved however we are out about $8,000 short of the budget from taking 15 students from the junior and senior class. This is where I am asking for your monetary donations so that we can provide this once in a lifetime opportunity that will change the trajectory of families for generations. Please donate whatever you feel you are able, no amount is too small.
