Many of you know how much Stavros loves riding motorcycles and the comradery and bond that comes with it.

About a month ago, while on a group ride, he was involved in a total freak accident as the group was pulling off the Palisades. His front wheel caught a curb, the bike low-sided, and his leg was pinned beneath it - resulting in a broken femur.

Stavros underwent surgery and thankfully, he is expected to make a full recovery. That said, the injury was severe, and his ability to return to work is still a long way off, since his work requires him to be on his feet.

While insurance has covered most of the medical side, the loss of income is real. He and his wife, Natalie, are raising two incredible boys here in NYC, and everyday expenses don’t exactly take a break.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help cover basic living costs while Stavros continues to heal and work toward getting back to full strength.

Those who know Stavros know he’d show up for others in this situation without hesitation. Agreeing to this wasn’t easy for him, but this is what community is all about.
