My name is Jamie Fields, and I am Stasha's youngest daughter. On Thursday, August 21st, my mom, Stasha, had to visit the Emergency Room after experiencing severe neck, shoulder, and back pain that became unbearable. After a long day of uncertainty, she received a diagnosis that changed everything—cancer and a fractured neck due to tumors that have spread to her spine. This news has been incredibly overwhelming for my mom and our family. She truly does not have the means to cover the upcoming medical expenses and everyday costs during this difficult time. If you know my mom, you know how strong and resilient she is, and I believe she will confront this challenge with that same spirit. On Tuesday (8/26/25), she will undergo surgery for the neck fracture, during which they will also perform a biopsy to gather more information about the cancer. This is a lot for her to process, and we’re still learning about the next steps.
