Help a Single Mom Recover After Her Car Was Stolen and Crashed

Hi, my name is Star. I’m a single mother of two beautiful children — my 19-month-old daughter and my 7-year-old son. On the night of October 27th, my car was stolen from where I live. Within minutes, it was crashed into my apartment building and completely totaled. The airbags deployed, and the people responsible fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of blood but no answers.

This has been devastating. My car wasn’t just transportation, it was how I support my family. I work in home healthcare, which means I drive daily to visit clients who rely on me for essential care. Without a car, I’m at risk of losing my job, and if that happens, I could lose my home too.

I’ve worked so hard to build stability for my kids and to create a safe and loving home. This unexpected situation has put everything on the line, and I’m doing my best to hold it together for them.

I’m asking for help to replace my vehicle, cover transportation costs in the meantime, and stay afloat. Due to my low income, full coverage insurance was just out of my price range. I only could afford liability, meaning I will not get help from insurance towards a vehicle.
