Stanley Deaville, my grandpa, has always been a pillar of strength for our family. After losing his wife of 45 years, Sherry, nearly six years ago, he was her devoted caregiver and a source of comfort for all of us. Recently, Stanley found happiness again when he married Wetona in July, and together they were building a new chapter of their lives. Unfortunately, everything changed when he received a shocking cancer diagnosis.

Stanley now faces a Whipple procedure, a week-long hospital stay, and chemotherapy. As a retired man, his insurance is only covering about half of the medical expenses, leaving a significant financial burden on him and Wetona. The hospital and oncologist are over an hour away, adding travel costs to an already overwhelming situation. Wetona, now the main provider, is balancing a demanding workload while caring for Stanley during his recovery.
