Help Us Lay Stanley Garris to Rest

Born: February 9, 1965
Passed: October 17, 2025

Our hearts are broken as we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Stanley Garris, who left us far too soon at just 60 years old on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Stanley lived life on his own terms—free-spirited, free-hearted, and fearless in the way he loved people. If you knew him, you know he never met a stranger. He could light up a room with his energy and make anyone feel like family. He had a million stories, and somehow each one was more unbelievable than the last. We’ll never know them all—but those lucky enough to hear a few will cherish them forever.

He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back or the last bite of his meal without a second thought. That’s just who he was. If you were hungry, he fed you. If you were lost, he encouraged you. Stanley didn’t just have two kids and nine grandbabies—he had a whole village who loved and claimed him.

Sadly, his passing has left our family in deep emotional and financial pain. We were not prepared for such a tragedy and are now faced with the heartbreaking task of laying him to rest without the necessary resources.

We are humbly asking for help to cover the cost of his farewell expenses. Every donation—no matter how small—will help give Stanley the send-off he deserves and bring peace to his children, grandchildren, and sisters as we say goodbye.

Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to support our family during this time of sorrow. Help us honor Stanley’s life, legacy, and the love he gave so freely.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

— his little Sister forever Charlotte
