This year has been one for the record books. That is for certain. Everyone is trying to find their new normal. Now just imagine if on top of everything else that has gone wrong this year your family is faced with a slew of unfortunate events. Needless to say that is what has happened to my sweet family. Without warning we found ourselves rushing to the hospital not realizing what was in store for us. Before we knew it our family was given a prognosis that was difficult to swallow. My daughter may only have a few precious years left with her father. She might never get to feel the joy of having her father walk her down the isle, or worse, graduate. Our sole financial supporter is currently unable to work due to his dwindling platelet count. Our usual bills still need to be paid and medical bills are piling up. Please understand that if the situation were not so uncertain I would find a job as quickly as I could. But with the current pandemic and frailty of his health, Mary Mae's father is not able, though willing, to keep up with the needs of a growing young girl. Some days are better than others and some days he finds himself just too weak.
Just when things were not bad enough we found out we need a new roof. I am trying to stay strong for my family but I feel like I am drowning.
It is with the humblest of hearts that I reach out to you. Please, find it in your heart to help our family. If you cannot donate, we understand. These times are difficult for many. However, though it may sound cliche', every little bit helps.
