Gordingos is raising money to support Stanley Walker, and his family. Stan will soon be undergoing surgery to remove 2 brain tumors that were discovered after he suffered a seizure earlier this month. Stan is a much beloved member of the community, and a fixture here at the restaurant. Stan's unshakeable demeanor, and unmatchable drive have been a blessing to our entire team since the early days of Gordingos. His easygoing attitude, and winning smile are a beacon of light to all who know him. Stan has a 1 year old daughter Keely, as well as 2 stepdaughters, Connie, and Rockell, and a stepson Dennis. His oldest son Zay is a graduate of Brevard High, and has spent the last several summer's as a manager at Dolly's Ice Cream shop in Pisgah Forest. Stan's road will be a long one, but his resilience is unquestionable. Stan's entire life has been here in the community of Brevard, and Brevard is a better place for it.
