Support Stan Meyers' Road to Recovery

On Sunday March 31st, 2024, Stan Meyers suffered a severe stroke which required emergency surgery. He has been in the Sioux Falls Sanford hospital recovering and doing several types of recovery therapy. His recovery, considering the severity of the clot, has been amazing thus far. Stan has always been an active individual and that has shown in his recovery time. His doctors are continually impressed with how he is doing and improving every day.

Even with his progress, Stan and Gloria’s lives are changed. We created this GoFundMe to help with ongoing medical costs, travel, equipment, and for additional needs when Stan returns home. He needs additional therapy before that can happen and Sanford is transferring him to a facility in Ankeny, IA to continue therapy.

Gloria and Stan are our aunt and uncle and have been a positive influence over our family through the years. They even opened up their home to us for an extended stay when we were moving states and did not have a home to move into yet. Personally, they have been another set of grandparents for our children, spoiling them with love and quality time. Gloria and Stan are generous with their time and are always willing to throw a good party. We know that many of you have also been touched by Stan and Gloria’s love and generosity.

Their faith in Jesus is unwavering as they rejoice in His love even in times of uncertainty and hardship.
