Hi everyone this is Matt, Stan and Carol's oldest son. On October 23rd, 2025, my parents, Stan and Carol, were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident when they collided with the side of a trailer. They were both life-flighted to the hospital with critical, life-threatening brain and bodily injuries and spent two weeks in the ICU undergoing multiple surgeries.
Carol is now home and working hard through physical therapy three days a week.
Stan remains in a rehab center as his injuries were more severe, but we are hopeful he’ll be able to come home within the next couple of weeks.
While we are incredibly grateful that they are both still with us, their recovery journey is far from over. They face months—and possibly years—of healing ahead. Many of the therapies they need, including red-light laser treatments, extended physical therapy, cognitive rehab, and other specialized care, are not covered by insurance. It is also unclear whether the driver responsible for the accident will ultimately be held financially accountable, and if so, it may take years.
Our family is committed to doing everything we can to make sure Stan and Carol receive every treatment and opportunity for healing. But we cannot do it alone.
How You Can Help
Your donation will go directly toward:
• Uncovered medical treatments and therapies
• Rehabilitation and mobility support
• Transportation to and from medical appointments
• Additional care needs during their long recovery
Anything you’re able to give—no matter the amount—helps lighten the load and ensures they receive the care they need and deserve.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone standing beside our family
