After weeks of silence in response to our request for voluntary recognition of our staff union, the owners of Baby's on Fire messaged our staff chat on the morning of Friday, July 10th to announce that the cafe will close on July 19th.

This move by the owners shows complete disregard for us as a staff and a lack of willingness to operate in good faith.

Many of us live paycheck to paycheck, don't have access to our paystubs, and are panicking. We need your support now more than ever. Please help support the staff of Baby's on Fire as we move through this difficult, uncertain, and scary period. Just a few of the staff members are pictured here. All funds raised will go to the affected members of staff in order to help them cover their basic living expenses as they figure out their next steps.
