Our dad’s home was completely destroyed by a storm this weekend. He was sitting in the living room watching the radar on tv when the ceiling came crashing down. This trailer on Irma Ave was home to our grandparents our entire life, our sanctuary growing up, and my dad’s home and sense of security. If you’ve ever met Staff Johnson, you know he would never ask for help but is always the first to help others. We are so thankful that he’s okay and will cherish the lifetime of memories that we’ve made here. Unfortunately the trailer was not insured. I’m not sure what his next step is, but we’d like to try to help relieve the financial stress of rebuilding while he figures it out. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
