Stacy, my partner, recently faced an unexpected and challenging health crisis. In October, doctors discovered a rather large tumor on her adrenal gland. The news was sudden and overwhelming, and the medical team at Anschutz hospital moved quickly to schedule her adrenalectomy. Just a few days ago, Stacy underwent surgery to have her adrenal gland removed. Thankfully, the procedure was successful, and she is now recovering at home.

While we are deeply grateful for the care Stacy received and her positive outcome, the financial impact has been somewhat significant. The costs of the surgery, hospital stay, and ongoing recovery, along with medications have added up quickly. In addition to medical bills, we are also facing our usual living expenses and other unexpected costs that have come up during this difficult time. We have both missed time at work and it has added up. We are, however, staying strong and hoping for more good news in the near future.
