Hi, My name is Stacy and I'm hoping to be blessed with the financial assistance needed to meet my monthly utilities, purchase food, necessities, a used vehicle, insurance, and some eye glasses. I'm a 61 year old single Christian woman who has lost my only source of income over 6 months ago. My propane for cooking, hot water and heat was shut off over a month ago and I've extended my electric bill as long as I can. I don't receive financial assistance other then $248 a month for groceries. I'm in the process of getting my social security benefits but that won't take effect for another 11 months. I live in a rural area and I'm without my own transportation so getting to town and going to the food pantries is difficult. The local churches don't have funds for utilities and the other resources for that won't have funds available for a couple more months. I have owned my own home for the past 38 years as a divorced mother of three boys and worked daily for all those years up until 8 years ago when circumstances beyond my control had me being a full time caregiver for my youngest son who was diagnosed at that time with a severe mental disease that he refuses to seek treatment or benefits for. He's been able to work off and on depending on his symptoms when they arise but has been out of work since June and is unable to secure a job and isn't receiving unemployment benefits for his past work. I would have to hire an attorney at this point to help with him being made to get treatment but with our finances being zero that's not possible at this time. We are a household of strong faith in God and serve the Lord with our whole heart. We've managed to scrape by up until this point and believe in the mighty God we serve answering our prayers according to His will. I've never publicly asked for help and wouldn't be asking now if I hadn't prayed about this and know within my spirit that I'm to humble myself even more and reach out to my sisters and brothers in Christ for help. My needs are little as I've learned to be content with or without. The electric is a need because I'm going to have to use space heaters to heat with and I have a well so without electricity there is also no water. I can get by with just cold water as there is no propane to heat with and take warm showers with. I'm no stranger to cold showers and sponge bathing...just thankful for any water at all. I don't have a working washing machine, hot water heater, the septic tank is full, the toilet is broken and having to be force flushed, no air conditioning when it's absolutely needed, no television, no internet, no vehicle and the list goes on. But what I do have can't be taken from me, and that's my faith in God and His perfect love for me. I have Jesus and I trust that He will carry me and my son through this season as He has every other. His grace has carried me here and it's more than enough. If you are able to donate any amount it will be greatly appreciated. I'm also asking for your prayers over me, my son and this household of faith. We believe in the power of prayer, and know that it's very effective. Thank you for your prayers, your love and compassion shown. May God bless you above and beyond for helping a sister out in her time of need. Love, Stacy ❤️
