Hello! My name is Stacy and I live in Maryland. On January 24th, driving to work, I was turning on a green arrow in Greenbelt, MD, when a lady ran a red light at full speed. She took out the whole front of my Kia Soul that I now call a Kia Spirit.

For two months, I have lived off of PTO, sick leave, and short-term disability and have exhausted all my resources. I do physical therapy twice a week for my foot and for the fractured ribs. Injuries shown in the pictures.

I have come to a point where my funds are gone and I don’t have funds to pay my rent, electric, or purchase my heart and diabetes medication. I have had to turn them down when filled.

I have just been released to go back to work, but my first full check won’t be until the first of next month.

My apartment complex is stating that if I don’t pay them by the 15th of the month, they will take legal action. I’m in danger of losing my new car that I need for my job transporting foster children to appointments and visitations with their birth parents.
