Support Stacy's Journey to Recovery

Donation protected

Hello, as some of you may know, Stacy Powers was diagnosed with liver failure and severe malnutrition in September of 2024.
She has been in and out of the hospital since, with her longest hospital stay being 43 days in St. Mary's Duluth.
Stacy moved back home with her mom to get help daily.
Stacy will eventually need a liver transplant and has an upcoming appointment with the University of Minnesota for establishing care and to move forward with the liver transplant.

We are asking friends and family for donations to help with medical expenses for these upcoming appointments in the cities. Her first trip to the University of Minnesota will have multiple tests and labs done and will be over the course of 3 days. We are also hoping to get a ramp built at her house and other adaptive equipment to make it safer for her to get around inside her house. As of now, she has at least one doctor's appointment a week. To get her to those doctor's appointments, family and friends have been going to her house and carrying her down 5 steps and then doing the same when she returns from the appointments. A ramp would make it so this no longer needs to happen, and hopefully prevent anyone from getting hurt.

Stacy's mom, Laurie, has had to take many days off of work without pay, so any extra money left over after her appointments and medical equipment will be used to help pay monthly bills.
Stacy wants us to mention that she no longer has any social media accounts. If you would like to get ahold of Stacy, please Facebook message her daughter Jordan or her mom Laurie.

Stacy is an amazing person with an amazing ability to make you feel like you're the most important thing in the world. She is a very caring and understanding person at heart and has always been there for those closest to her and far beyond that. She is a truly beautiful person with a smile that can change your day in an instant. And the proud mother of 3 amazing kids. We want her around! Her kids, family, and friends need her around. So please, let's help this amazing woman, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and help with these medical costs while she continues to make steps to recover.

Thank you!
