Hey everyone, I'm trying to help my mother and father-in-law during this difficult time in their lives. Stacy, my mother-in-law, is having some pretty severe health problems. She has lost her job as a result of health problems, and therefore, her insurance. She has been denied Tenncare since. Her health has required her to go to the emergency room multiple times now in a short time (almost a dozen times in 2 months), and they still aren't any closer to an answer or solution to her new and worsening health problems. Nobody will admit her and do thorough diagnostics due to lack of insurance. Stacy has went from a fun-loving, adventurous, kayaking loving, and independent person, who loved to hang out with friends and family, to someone who is unable to perform even the simplest of daily tasks.

I'm seeking help from friends, family, and the community, to support their efforts in fighting this battle. She is unable to work, and my father-in-law has lost his job due to absenteeism. He has to be with her 24/7 now. She isn't able or capable to be on her own. Without insurance, facilities and/or home health isn't an option. Transportation costs are rising with each ER visit, medical bills are stacking up, household bills are still coming in. We are working hard to get insurance going and assistance through the hospital with various resources they may have available, but for the moment they could use your help. Anything is appreciated. Disability and insurance applications have been submitted and denied. Appeals have been filed.
