Support Stacy's Beloved Beagle, Oreo

Hello! My name is Stacy and I’m the mom/owner of my 5 year old fur baby Oreo the beagle. Recently Oreo has gotten really sick. Upon taking her to the vet there are more questions than answers. And honestly, I’m having a difficult time being able to afford all the test to find out what’s truly wrong with Oreo.

on Saturday I woke up to the worst sound of my life, of her howling and screaming at 3am. The sound still haunts me now. She wouldn’t settle so I called around to some local emergency vets which all said to call again at 8 because their doctors weren’t accepting new patients.

I called her vet when they opened and got her in and dropped her off at 9am. They kept her most of the day and when I went to go get her, the vet said she has debris and sediment in her bladder which could be causing some pain. She also said she felt around her bones and didn’t notice anything unusual.

the blood work and urinalysis plus office visit on Saturday equaled just over $800.

I’d like to get Oreo an x-ray and any other tests to find out what’s wrong.

I’ve never asked for help like this before but she’s worth asking strangers for even $2 towards finding answers.

I never want to hear that scream come from her again and unfortunately, She’s let it out a few times since then. And just when I think she’s improving, she relapses and it starts all over again.

Right now Oreo is not drinking water independently. I have to spoon feed her homemade bone broth and mix it in to her food to make it soft. She has limited mobility but I’m lucky I live in a place with an elevator.

with the help of my wonderful dog walker and neighbor Oreo’s physical needs are being met. But I really need to find out what’s truly wrong so she can be treated appropriately and start feeling better.

I really love my animals and wish them the best and happiest life I can give them.
