My name is Stacye, and I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2009. For many years, I lived without symptoms and was able to enjoy life as usual. However, in 2021, after receiving the Covid vaccine, my illness became uncontrollable, and everything changed. Since 2024, I have been determined permanently disabled and am now living on a fixed income.
After trying different treatments that unfortunately did not work, my doctors have recommended CAR T-cell therapy, which is similar to a stem cell transplant. While I am hopeful about this new treatment, I have learned that there are many costs involved that my insurance will not cover.
Over the past two years, I have been in and out of treatment, and the medical bills have continued to add up. Now, as I get ready for CAR T-cell therapy, I am facing even more expenses, including travel to the treatment center, caregiver support, and everyday living costs. It’s a lot to manage on my own, and I want to make sure I can focus on healing without the added stress of financial worries.
I am reaching out for support from my community, friends, and anyone who feels moved to help. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward my ongoing treatment, medications, travel, and caregiver expenses. I am deeply grateful for any and all help—your support will make this difficult journey a little bit easier and give me hope as I move forward. Thank you for being part of my story and for helping me through this challenging time.
