Support Stacy Ingerson's Fight Against Lung Cancer

Dear friends - my name is Shannon Ingerson and I come to you with a heavy heart to share that my mother, Stacy Ingerson, has lung cancer, so we are seeking financial support in this hard time.

The fundraiser I did for my sister after she passed showed me so much love, that maybe anything is possible. We are seeking help to pay for medical fees and treatment plans. I don’t want my parents to be stressed about money in this extremely stressful time.

Update: they’re thinking it’s stage 3B lung cancer. Early June my mother will have to endure radiation and chemotherapy 5x a week, an hour away from her house. She will probably need to find temporary housing this summer to be closer to the hospital, so she doesn’t miss any appointments. I will have to take extra time off work, unpaid, to drive 8 hours to check in on my mother. My mother will no longer be able to work. She was denied social security disability, but they appealed the denial since she was diagnosed with cancer and they are waiting to hear back. Please keep my mother in your thoughts and prayers in this hard time.

Aug 1st 2025 update: my mom has had three chemotherapy treatments, she has a CT next week and she will have another chemotherapy appointment after that. They are going to check to see if the tumor shrunk enough to do radiation. My mom is very sick. Please keep her in your prayers. Anything helps us. Again, thank you!
