Hi, my name is Stacy Burks. I’m a 36-year-old mother of five beautiful children, the youngest being just nine months old. Recently, my life took an unexpected turn when I suffered a stroke that caused bleeding on the brain. I was later diagnosed with septicemia, which led to seizures and episodes of unconsciousness.

This has left me unable to work, and I’m now facing mounting medical and living expenses while trying to care for my children. I need help covering essential bills, along with costs not fully covered by Medicaid — including visits to my neurologist, speech therapy, physical therapy, and in-home assistance.
