Stacy Benson and I have been friends since High school. He is one of my oldest and dearest. A really good fella. In February Stacey got sick, It was thought to be a stomach bug, throwing up and diarrhea. A 48 hour thing. It was not.

5 months and two hospitals later, he’s still in Vanderbilt and they can't figure out what’s wrong with him or a way to control his symptoms. He receives nutrients through an IV. He is not well.

The company that he works for has looked out for him in a lot of ways and they paid him much longer than they had too, good on them I say! Unfortunately, because it’s a business, they can no longer do it.

That’s why The Bensons need our help.

No amount of belt tightening can account for suddenly going from a two income family to a one income family. There was Insurance, thank goodness, but bills are bills and the bills are mounting.

These are my friends and they could use a little help.

So here I am, hat in hand, looking for your help.
