My mom, Stacie, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will soon begin chemotherapy. While we know chemo is an important step in her treatment and recovery, one of the hardest side effects is hair loss.

There is a way to help minimize this side effect: a cold-capping machine. Cold-capping can significantly reduce hair loss during chemo, but it is not covered by insurance and is very expensive to rent or purchase.

We are raising funds to help cover the cost of a cold-capping machine and related expenses during her treatment. Any donation, big or small, will help lighten this financial burden and give my mom the chance to focus on healing while still feeling like herself.
