For my mother, Stacian Watson, the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa didn’t only damage the house; it flooded completely, leaving nothing accessible anymore, no light or water. After all these videos I hope to post, the roof has completely caved in, having more water come in and left it even more unstable, and my own mother can no longer get out safely. I was able to speak with her for only 7 minutes, and the work that needs to be done to rebuild everything is too great to be done alone. The help would mean absolutely everything to me and my family, and the community around as they are a tight-knit community.

There is no way for me to currently go back to Jamaica right now as I’m in America and the flights won’t be available for now, but as I plan to go back, what I have will not be enough and the help to bring even the smallest resources would be the least I could do.
