Update: Stacey has sadly passed away. Please keep Anthony and his family, Chase, Cherish, friends, family, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Stacey requested to be cremated and did not want a formal funeral. We are using these funds for her children to make payments to the funeral home to honor her wishes.

If you’d prefer, you also have the option to donate directly to Duker & Haugh. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, prayed, or shared this so far. I’m doing my best to help ensure her kids have as little added stress as possible as they say goodbye to their mom.

Stacey Houston has been bravely battling stage 4 cancer that has tragically spread throughout her entire body. She has fought with incredible strength, but the fight has taken a heavy toll. Recently, her children were faced with the heartbreaking decision to place her on hospice care. As of now, Stacey is not doing well.

As anyone can imagine, this is an incredibly emotional and difficult time for her family. Her children have been doing everything they can to stay strong for her while also trying to prepare for what’s to come. We want to do everything possible to ease some of their burden and give them the chance to focus on spending these precious moments with their mother without the added stress of financial strain.

Stacey has expressed her final wishes she does not want a formal funeral and instead wishes to be cremated. In honor of her wishes and to support her family, we are hoping to raise funds to cover her after-life arrangements. Every donation will go directly toward helping her children (Anthony Wert, Cherish Wert, and Chase Owsley) to fulfill her final requests and ensure they are not left with financial worry during their time of grief.

If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this and sending prayers, love, and support to Stacey and her family during this time. Every bit helps and is deeply appreciated.
