Stacey Barker is not only a wonderful friend, but also an incredible single mother who has always put her daughter Ripley first. Recently, Stacey and Ripley faced an unimaginable challenge when Ripley was suddenly hospitalized with severe facial swelling, pain, fever, and lethargy. After a tense visit to the emergency room, doctors discovered a dangerous sinus infection that required immediate surgery and a medivac flight from Kauai to Kapiolani Hospital on Oahu. The news was overwhelming, but Stacey’s quick action and unwavering love made all the difference.

Ripley’s surgery went well, and she is now on the road to recovery, showing incredible strength and bravery through it all. Stacey has been by her side every step of the way, grateful for the amazing care from doctors, nurses, and even the hospital’s therapy dog, Ruby. The outpouring of support from friends and family has been a true blessing, but the journey is far from over. Stacey is missing work to stay with Ripley, and the costs of travel, medical care, and daily needs are adding up quickly.
