Dave Short here & we're raising funds for Stacey Billings. Stacey has Leukemia and will be doing a bone marrow transplant @ Dana Farber this summer. He says his insurance coverage is pretty good, fortunately. However, Stacey will be unable to work for at least 6 months, which of course, takes him into the dead of winter when there's not a whole lot going on anyway. Besides the lost income, there will be plenty of extra expenses related to travel, deductibles etc.

Stacey has probably done work for you on Mt Desert, or someone close to you. Like most of you, our family has known Stacey for 40+ years. A better person does not walk this planet. We already have significant pledges and hope you are able to help us reach, and greatly surpass our goal. Our friend needs it.

Stacey, understandably, does not want this to be posted on any social media. It is not setup as private on gofundme, so that someone searching on gofundme for Stacey Billings, will find it.
