Hi everyone,

As some of you may have heard, our co-worker and friend Stacey, is a new grandma! Yesterday, Stacey's daughter Sarah and her boyfriend Nick, became the new parents of a beautiful 8lb 5oz baby boy, Samuel. Tragically, about 12 hours before Sarah went into labor, their home caught fire. She was treated for elevated CO2 levels but she, baby and Dad are healthy and safe. Stacey left work yesterday and drove all the way to Michigan to be there to support them however she can. Their only option of a place to stay after discharging from the hospital is a tight space and very temporary. Right now, all they can do is take it moment-by-moment. A lot of us have been first time parents at some point in our lives and know how difficult that is already. Please consider this having been yourself, your daughter or son, or anyone you love and care for. Let's do what we can to help them. No amount is too small, anything at all helps! Thank you all.
