Over the last year, Hurricane Helene devastated and uprooted our entire life. We lost our home, and soon after Trav was once again hospitalized with a preexisting condition and has been partially immobile and hindered from working full time, and since then it has been in and out of hotels. He has been in and out of the hospital with serious health issues, adding medical stress to an already unbearable situation.

We have fought to stay afloat, but the recent government shutdown has made things even harder, cutting off critical support and deepening the instability. We are not asking for or expecting luxury, just a chance to breathe and rebuild.
