I am currently caring for two incredible minors who recently arrived in Michigan seeking safety and stability. They came from South America and are beginning the difficult process of rebuilding their lives in a new country.

I have known them for several months and stepped in to provide temporary care and stability during a critical transition. As a college student, I am committed to supporting them, but I cannot do it alone.

These are resilient, kind kids who are adjusting to a new culture, new language, and new school system. They love soccer. They light up around animals, especially horses. Time at a local stable has become something grounding and joyful for them, a rare sense of normalcy during a period of immense change. They are not asking for charity, they are asking for a chance to grow, learn, and feel secure.
