Support St. Louis Short-Term Rental Hosts

The city of St. Louis has imposed a new law that is far over-reaching and impeding on our entrepreneurial liberties. Many short-term rental businesses, big and small, are being crushed by this new law in various ways.

Additionally, future travelers, contract workers, and even displaced families due to insurance claims, etc., will also be greatly affected with very limited options of places to go. The city has disguised this new law as something good for the community. In reality, it doesn't address any of the problems they claim to be attempting to solve, and the only real winner is the gigantic hotel corporations who will undoubtedly pick up our abandoned business and will also coincidentally not be held to the same standards that are being unconstitutionally forced on us.

It is our goal to amend these regulations to be more reflective of the problems they are intended to solve and less restrictive to the good-intentioned short-term rental hosts that are just trying to make a living and bring some revenue into the community.

Therefore, I am raising money to be allocated for the legal costs to retain an attorney and fight on behalf of all hosts in the city of St Louis. All funds will be collected and distributed to the legal team by me. Those who would like updates or proof of funds being distributed are welcome to join our Facebook group where I will be posting screenshots and frequent updates on the case as it progresses.
