Support SSgt Julie Bittinger's Fight Against a Brain Tumor

Hello, my name is Ryan Garabrandt. I’m a friend and fellow team member of Staff Sgt. Julie Bittinger, a selfless and dedicated United States Air Force Reservist, and a beloved respiratory therapist. Recently, Julie received devastating news that she has a large brain tumor and now faces a major surgical procedure in the coming weeks with the possibility of radiation treatment based on the biopsy results.

Julie’s treatment will take her far from home, to a top brain cancer facility in Florida, where she will be surrounded by the love and care of her parents and siblings. However, this journey will bring financial burdens from extensive medical expenses, travel costs, and an uncertain recovery period that will keep her from work for some time.

Julie has spent her life helping others: as a respiratory therapist (RT) at West Virginia University, and as a proud RT of the Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) at the 911th Airlift Wing at Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station. Your support can ease her family's financial strain as she bravely fights this illness. Though she remains positive, her road to recovery will be challenging.
