Launching our $20,000 Relief Mission

Sri Lanka has been hit by a devastating cyclone. Entire villages have been buried under mudslides. Roads are gone. Homes have been destroyed. Families are stranded with no food, no clothing, and no way to leave. Children have lost everything overnight. An entire village of 800 men, women and children have been buried under a mudslide.

This country is deeply personal to me.

For years, I have worked side by side with communities in Sri Lanka, flying in to deliver food, bringing essentials to entire villages, supplying schoolchildren with packs and supplies, and building a roof for a Buddhist temple in need.

These aren’t “projects.”

These are people I know.

Faces I’ve hugged.

Children who run to the gate when we arrive.

Monks who bless us with tears in their eyes.

Families who have become family to me.

And today, those same communities are suffering in the worst way.

So I’m launching an emergency relief fundraiser and I will personally match every single dollar donated.

If we raise $20,000 together, I will double it to $40,000.

Every donation becomes twice as powerful.

I am flying to Sri Lanka in January with a small team to deliver supplies by hand, and help rebuild just like we always do, face to face, village to village, family by family.
