Mr Squatch aka SQUISH NEEDS OUR HELP

If you don’t know Squish’s story…

the day Squish arrived at the shelter and The very next day when I picked him up to become our medical foster.

He was covered in burns, cuts, wounds, scars, and old injuries.

He was underweight, sick, and clearly had not had an easy life.

Despite everything he had been through, Squish never stopped loving people & fighting to get better.

Since then myself & Krista (his 100% person) have been fostering him & getting him healthy.

SINCE the very beginning of JANUARY , when he arrived home, Squish has had SEVERELY swollen lymph nodes.

We’ve brought him back for treatment multiple times and each time were prescribed another round of prednisone. Despite three separate prednisone trials, his lymph nodes remain enlarged and continue to concern us.

Last Thursday, when I brought him to the clinic to be looked at we were told that they made the decision to make Mr Squatch aka Squish NON- ADOPTABLE, rescue-only, and NO LONGER TREATABLE . This decision is being make because the vet has decided he has cancer.

The problem is that no diagnostic testing has been done.

No bloodwork.
No imaging.
No biopsy.
No answers.

Right now, we don’t know if Squish has cancer or if something else is causing his symptoms. We cannot accept giving up on him without knowing the truth.

We’re asking for your help to get Squish to a private veterinarian for the diagnostics he desperately needs so we can finally understand what is happening and determine the best path forward for him.
