Hey y’all, our sweet dog Squirt needs surgery.

Squirt suffered a complete tear in one ACL this fall and the other one we believe just tore a few days ago. He’s struggling to walk, doing his best to avoid putting weight on either of his back legs, and it’s heartbreaking to see him hobble around.

ACL surgery for one leg is hovering around $4,000-5,000, and if we operate on both at the same time it will be $7,000 on the low end.

We cannot afford the surgery and created this GoFundMe to open up space for community support. Squirt is a rescue dog whose main priority is cuddling. He’s been a huge source of companionship and love for both of us the last six years.

The funds raised will go directly toward the cost of surgery for Squirt. We are so grateful for anything you are able to give, or if you can share the post it means a lot.
