Help Save Squirrelly Dan – Emergency Surgery for a Sweet Rescue Pup
Aloha, friends –
I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for your help saving my best buddy, Squirrelly Dan.
Squirrelly Dan is a one-of-a-kind soul: a Corgi-Pit Bull mix with a heart as big as his ears. I rescued him on Oahu, Hawaii, where he spent the early part of his life surviving on the streets. Since then, he’s become my adventure buddy, cuddle partner, and pajama-wearing sidekick.
We’ve hiked through forests, camped under the stars, and cruised around in his bike trailer chariot like the royalty he is. He’s quirky, full of personality, and has taught me more about resilience and unconditional love than I ever thought possible.
A few days ago, Squirrelly Dan suddenly stopped eating. At first I thought maybe he had an upset stomach, but when things didn’t improve, I rushed him to the emergency vet. After scans and tests, the diagnosis was heartbreaking: a lower intestinal blockage. The only way to save him is through emergency surgery – and fast.
The estimated cost for his surgery and recovery is between $8,090.10 and $10,090.10. As much as it pains me to ask, I simply can’t cover this on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out to this amazing community for support.
Every single dollar raised will go directly to his medical care. And if we’re lucky enough to raise more than we need, all extra funds will be donated to Greenhill Humane Society, to help other animals in need get a second chance – just like Squirrelly Dan did.
If you’re able to donate, share, or just send some good vibes our way, it means the world. Thank you for loving Squirrelly Dan with me.
With endless gratitude,
Andy
